Information about user organizations’ sustainability efforts, location, size and industry will be collected as part of the completion of the tool. No user or organization names will be collected. All information is captured and stored into a secure aggregate database and stored on a secure server.
By accessing the GOT you grant permission for the collection of this information and consent to it being used in a collective manner with all other users of the GOT as a means for users to compare their scores against the collective scores of other GOT users, and as a means for property owners and property managers to review cumulative scoring data of their buildings. No identifying information of your company will be made available to users.
Your user information will only be accessible via a private email/password combination that is created by you/your organization. You agree to immediately notify www.greenofficetool.com of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security known to you.
Term of Use
The site will be available for continued update, re-evaluation and analysis by users providing the user accesses the site within an eleven (11) month period of time. This is intended to encourage users to update their information at least annually. If an 11 month period lapses without a user accessing the site, the user will be required to contact their Property Manager, or other entity from whom the user received their original access key, for re-entry into the site.
Any user who has not accessed the site within a three (3) year period will be removed from the site entirely and all of that user’s data will be deleted. This is to ensure cumulative and comparative data for other users of the site remains current and relevant.
Note, these timelines are subject to change without notice.
Site Credibility
To ensure the credibility of the comparative data for each user experience, users are urged to answer each question as accurately as possible.
The GOT is not a certification tool and www.greenofficetool.com is not responsible for the accuracy of data input by users.
Users are welcome to publicize their individual and comparative scores for the purposes of self-promotion; however, keep in mind that comparative scores are ever-changing.
